Our Team

The Black Business Series was created with the intent of filling a niche currently underserved in mainstream media. The issues we address are critical to the economic survival of Black Americans.

Black American Business Documentaries

Our goal is to produce authentic, factual and compelling documentaries related to Black American businesses and economics.

The Story Behind Black Business Series

In recent years, low-cost cinema cameras and film equipment have revolutionized how documentaries are made, as well as the ability to rent them. Even with increased production capacities and costs, narrative flair and technical skills are still needed to reach a large audience. We have collaborated with a range of industries to develop documentaries that are educational, motivating, and realistic.

As the COVID-19 Pandemic reached its peak, we conducted interviews with Black-owned businesses in Los Angeles. Depending on their industry, some businesses succeeded, while others struggled.

Black Business Series L.L.C. To Launch First Documentary Series In Los Angeles

There is a diverse range of Black American businesses featured in Black Business LA. We were able to gather fascinating stories from business owners and entrepreneurs throughout our interviews about the difficulties of starting and running a company in Los Angeles, including dealing with the peak of the COVID-19 Pandemic and government shutdown in 2020.

The series features Black business owners demonstrating success through business ownership.

We Are The Future Of Black America Business Media Our 3 Year Plan

Following the production of the Black Business LA documentary series, we will expand production to major US cities, including Chicago, Washington DC, and Houston.

We will categorize our audience, and itemize where we want to be in all aspects; financial, non-financial, and brand recognition, before we begin our productions.

Why YOU Should Invest:

Corporations control most Black creative assets in cinema and media that aren't representative of Black Americans. By investing in Black Business Series, L.L.C. you will essentially regain control...as we will tell the stories of our community and control our own narrative. Additionally, as an investor, you will help increase the circulation of the Black dollar within the community (Black buying power reached $1.57 trillion in 2020 according to Nielsen).

Additionally, the number of films depicting slavery and gender discrimination is heartbreaking, and while that is part of our story, it is not the whole story. In order to show our children that we are a well-rounded people, that we grieve as well as rejoice, that we may fail often, but that triumphs are also possible, that despite humiliation, we still remain proud, we need to show them strong positive images.

We chose equity crowdfunding because Black Business Series is the first of its kind and a cultural phenomenon, and we want to give our supporters the opportunity to make history and grow with us.

Our time is now!
